Back in 2013, co-founder Helena was a lecturer at HELP Matriculation Centre (HMC) and started a student organisation called Student Facilitators (SF). She trained youngsters in facilitation and two of them were Kalyn and Yihua. 

Trained SFs led the orientations for HMC students, facilitated Leadership Camps, trained & empowered new young facilitators, and many other activities aimed to unearth the students’ potential.

Not long after, we graduated from matriculation; the passion for youth development however, continued. We felt the immediate advantages we have at the workplace with the personal development and leadership skills we gained from SF.

With the intention of giving this same opportunity to more youths, PEDALS Academy was founded by the 3 of us in 2021 as a next-level platform for students who are truly passionate to further realise their potentials and skills in Facilitation.
